Wisroc, Linden (Hooked to the 592) – Recently we asked Producer Shawn McAllister, what makes the “REP 592 COMPILATION” VOL.5 ALBUM his best to date. Shawn said to have more females, a wider selection of genres, and over ten more songs makes it his best ALBUM yet.
To gain a greater appreciation for Shawn’s belief in this album, we decided to take a listen with a group of Guyanese and tourists. Our aim was to see how the world reacts to music by Guyanese.
We also listened to the other four albums released by Demroc Music.
After listening to the 36 songs on 2 July 2021 released fifth album which runs for 114 minutes, the following feedback was given:
- Junior Bee says what many Guyanese can’t say to the bigger heads “STOP LOCKUP GHETTO YOUTHS FOR LITTLE GANJA,” on ‘Care About We.’
- The addition of Nyah, Karizzma, Aneesa Badshaw, Nikki Nooks and Amelia Thomas made the album special.
- Change by the Grammy-Nominated Singer/Songwriter Blakkamoore, is one of our favourite tracks on this album.
- The song Valued by Sean Sobers is amongst our top three songs on this album, which are yours?
- Newcomers to the album series Nyah and Karizzma, the Wakanda ladies, are being counted in the top five tracks this album.
- Aneesa Badshaw was the most searched for artiste on this album.
Aneesa Badshaw is an actress and recording artist considered to be one of Canada’s top urban Indo-Guyanese fashion models.
This album features over ten collaborations, twenty tracks over three minutes long and Empress by Azariel.
The tradition of offering free streaming and downloading of each album across various platforms is continued, you can now listen to the album on audiomack.
