Leon Labastide has authored a total of five books during his writing career. They are entitled Breath of Life Poetry, Here Come The Dreamers: the Journey, Transparency, Pink Cover: Things That are Important and WE ARE ONE.
His books have been inducted into the Guyana National Library, both in Georgetown and in Linden, July 25, 2015 and August 7, 2015 respectively. Leon’s work can be found in the Guyana Chronicle and Stabroek Newspaper both in print and online.
Leon is a Creative Writer and SpokenWord Artist, known as The Guyanese Poet. He is a frequent performer at poetry events, religious gatherings, college campuses, conferences, youth summits, government rallies and book tours in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands Antilles, and Guyana.
