(CANNABIS TALKS GY) – We know that his Government can find the GYD 5 Billion needed to support the legalization of Cannabis in Guyana. The billion dollars question is will President Ali fight for or against Cannabis?

His Presidential Promises

The President made the following promises to all Guyanese

  • “I will be the President for all the people of Guyana.”
  • “I will serve each of you with affection, without discrimination, and with every attention to fairness and equity.”
  • “From this day forward, our one nation and our people must join together to peacefully transition our country to a pathway of economic and social development at home, and respect and regard abroad.”

The legalization of all strains of Cannabis will be one of the most popular economic plays by any Guyanese Government, and see the President keeping his promises.

The Laws of Guyana

THE PROTECTION OF FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OF THE INDIVIDUAL are Guaranteed under the Laws of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana in ARTICLE 145. (4), which states: “No person shall be compelled to take any oath which is contrary to his religion or belief or to take any oath in a manner which is contrary to his religion or belief.”

The time is now that the Rastafarian community has their rights and privileges, the sacramental usage of Cannabis, honoured by the Government of Guyana.

It will remove the much-bemoaned oppression from the system.

The Business of Ganja

Mathematically and Medically, Guyana’s bittersweet dependence on Sugar is more dangerous to the health of Guyana and Guyanese than Cannabis.

We can grow various strains of Cannabis on our currently cultivated Sugar Lands and produce diverse products in our Sugar factories.

An Industrial Hemp Farm

A Cannabis Industry will ensure that Guyana retains the title of “The Bread Basket of the Caribbean.”

Will President Ali support the immediate removal of custodial sentences and criminal offences for the possession of small amounts of Ganja from the Laws of Guyana?

Can we count on you to fight for the legalisation Cannabis, or will you be like the others?
